Funds Received & Pledge Manger Progress
We’re happy to share that we’ve received the funds from Kickstarter and are hard at work getting everything set up in BackerKit. Right now, we’re adding SKUs and making sure all the connections are correct so that any items you’ve selected as part of your pledge will automatically be in your cart and ready for you.
Once this is complete, we’ll send out a "smoke test" to about 10% of backers to ensure everything is working smoothly. After the test, we’ll start sending surveys to everyone.
We expect the full survey rollout to happen next week, so keep an eye on your inbox! As always, we’ll send a follow-up update once surveys have been fully sent out.
Once the pledge manager opens, you'll have plenty of time to complete your pledge: we plan on keeping pledges open for 30 days. After that, we'll lock orders, but you will still be able to change your shipping address at any point up until we begin shipping, so no worries if you move while the book is being made!

For those who missed out on backing the project during the campaign, we’ve got great news! Our preorder store is now open at:
Preorders will be shipped after all backers receive their pledges, but they have the same estimated delivery date of August 2025. So if you have any fellow adventurers who missed out on the campaign, let them know they can still be part of the action!

All Stretch Goals Unlocked!
Inconceivable! Your tremendous support has helped us unlock the Expanded Bestiary as well as the '80s Adventures Quest Deck stretch goals! Now, with over 20 additional creatures and a digital deck of unique quest prompts, your '80s-inspired adventures will be even better! We couldn't be more thrilled to have unlocked every single goal.

Timeline and Next Steps
Now that the campaign has wrapped up, here’s what’s next:
Surveys: In about 2 weeks, Kickstarter will send us the funds from the campaign. Once we receive them, we’ll send out a rewards survey via BackerKit. This survey will allow you to select your rewards, choose any additional add-ons you want, and provide your shipping information. The survey link will be sent to the email associated with your Kickstarter account. Be sure to keep an eye out for it, and check your spam or promotional folder if you don’t see it.
Upgrades and Add-ons: While the surveys are active, you’ll be able to upgrade your pledge and/or add more items to your order. It's a great time to grab anything you missed!
Address Updates: You can update your address up until shipping begins (Expected Aug 2025) using your survey link. This ensures your rewards get to you without any issues.
Shipping: All rewards will ship around the same time. We’ll keep you updated on the progress and let you know when shipping begins.
Pre-Order Store: When surveys are sent, we’ll also open our pre-order store. If you have friends who missed out on the campaign, they can make a late pledge for '80s Adventures. Pre-orders will ship after backers receive their items, so let your friends know they can still join the adventure!
What’s Next for Playtesting?
We know some of you have been asking about playtesting, and we’re excited to share that we plan to open up a lot of previews and surveys following the launch of our pledge manager. While we don’t have exact details just yet - stay tuned - there will be an update with all the info around that time!

Hi Everyone!
We’ve entered the final week of our campaign, and the excitement is reaching new heights! Here’s a quick rundown of what’s new and what’s coming up as we approach the finish line.
$120K Stretch Goal Unlocked!
We’ve unlocked the $120K stretch goal, and we couldn't be more excited. We will now include an entire new chapter dedicated to a brand-new pantheon of gods inspired by the '80s. Follow the god of media, expand your empire with the blessing of the god of globalization, or make a warlock pact with the literal embodiment of Greed.
We're not done yet! Two New Stretch Goals Added!
As we reach the end of the campaign, we're excited to unveil the last two stretch goals! Both of these goals will bring even more awesome content to expand the book!
$140K – Expanded Bestiary: Get ready to face off against some totally rad adversaries! If we hit this goal, we’ll be adding a host of new creatures inspired by 80s pop culture, from neon-infused beasts to creatures straight out of your favorite movies and TV shows.
$160K – Digital Quest Decks: Perfect for those quick game nights or one-shots when you want to dive right into the action! Reaching this goal will unlock digital quest decks that provide ready-to-play adventures inspired by 80s tropes.

Wow Everyone,
What a fantastic first week it has been! As of today we've reached the $100K stretch goal, and have more 1000 backers joining the campaign! Of our 15 Kickstarters, this is the largest opening week we've ever had, and we are absolutely thrilled and thankful for the outpouring of support for this book. We also unlocked 3 stretch goals!
Backgrounds unlocked!
Reaching $100,000 in funding means that we are adding a backgrounds section to the book for all backers, meaning your 80s adventures core book just got bigger and better.
5 New Races, Neon Dragon STL added and VTT Tokens expanded!
We also unlocked 5 new races for you to play, including our custom "Vaporlings" race and a elf variant race "The Glamours". Digital Deluxe backers and above will also receive the Large Neon Dragon STL and expanded VTT token sets which now contains the Neon Dragons! So now is the perfect time to upgrade your pledge to get these awesome add ons, as well as our 80s fanny pack and cassette themed Amethyst dice.

Projects We Love
We've been following Unlimited Realms since their first book Cyran's Magnificent Walking Marketplace, and when they launched their new project Gobber's Guide to Hearth and Home we were super excited!
Here's a little explanation that Mat from Unlimited Realms gave us:
"GOBBER'S GUIDE TO HEARTH & HOME" is the second full-length supplement for DnD 5E from Unlimited Realms Ltd in collaboration with big names from the role playing community! At its core, the project is dedicated to building a base for your DnD party and the establishment. then upgrading of small settlements in fantasy TTRPGs to immerse your players in their own base-planning shenanigans! That's not all, also discover the following in Gobbers: 3 New Races 3 New Sub-Classes 100s of new magic items and monsters."
New Races Unlocked and Exciting Stretch Goals Ahead!

We are thrilled to announce that we hit our $75,000 stretch goal last night! Thanks to your support, we've unlocked five new races for '80s Adventures, including the ephemeral Vaporlings and the elf variant race, the Glammers.
New Stretch Goals at $85k and $100k
We’ve added two new stretch goals to keep the excitement going:
$85,000: Unlock a special STL download of our iconic Neon Dragon for all backers at the Digital Deluxe tier and above! This isn't just any dragon – he'll be a named character in the core '80s Adventures book (more news on that coming soon!!), with full stats available in our add-on Guide to Neon Dragons.
$100,000: Unlock new '80s-inspired backgrounds for your characters! All backers will get access to these unique backgrounds.
Share the Campaign
To keep the journey going, we have a quest for you to share the campaign with your fellow adventurers. You can share the project on social media or send it to your gaming group.
We’ve also added a video review from Jorphdan to the campaign page, highlighting what you can expect from '80s Adventures. It's a great way you can pass along what makes this campaign great!
Come See Us at GenCon!
We are at GenCon this weekend! We'd love for you to come by and see us at booth number 3142. We even have some special posters for the first 200 people who drop by the booth and show us their pledge. Because we'll be on the road we will be a little lighter on updates for the next few days. However, rest assured we are monitoring comments and support if you need us.
