We are excited to be sending you the first round of Playtesting for Subclasses and Magic items. As well as two of the modules coming soon. Playtest materials are being sent to you through Backerkit. You should receive an email today, or you can log into your Backerkit account to find the digital downloads.

These are playtest materials. None of this is the final version and we want your feedback! We'll be sending out email forms where you can give us feedback in the following weeks. Or you can join the discussion on our Discord.
Locking Backerkit Pledges
We will be locking orders this week as well to begin production counts for all items. During this time we will charge your card on file with BackerKit for shipping and additional rewards. Should you need to update your card you will receive an email from Backerkit.

Big Announcement! Choose Your Edition: 5.14 or 5.24

We’ve got exciting news to share, directly inspired by your excellent and detailed feedback so far. We’re making 80s Adventures available in two editions - one formatted for the 2014 version of the 5e rules (5.14) and another for the updated 2024 version (5.24). This means you get to choose the edition that’s perfect for your game!
We know every adventurer’s table is unique, so instead of forcing everyone into one edition or making a hybrid book of both rulesets, we’re letting you decide which version best fits your game. This way, you get the exact format you need to make your next adventure unforgettable.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. Producing two versions of the book will be an undertaking, requiring an additional pass through the entire text to ensure each edition is polished and fully compatible with the rules you play by. However, we believe this extra effort is worth it to deliver the best possible product for you.
Here’s How to Pick Your Edition:
We’re sending out emails with links to update your survey in BackerKit. If you’ve already completed your survey, simply follow the link in the email to choose your preferred edition. Alternatively, you can head back to BackerKit using your original survey link and update it there. If you haven’t filled out your survey yet, now’s the time!
Your selection will allow us to properly plan and deliver the books to match your expectations. We’re committed to ensuring your 80s Adventures experience is everything you’ve hoped for - and more.
This is also a perfect opportunity to snag additional add-ons, like our Synthwave Sunset Neon Dice or Retro Campaign Posters. Every add-on you pick up directly supports the additional work we’re putting into this project and helps ensure we can continue creating awesome content for your table.

We've just finished up some internal testing, which means more playtest materials will be on the way soon! Keep an eye on your inbox because you’ll soon receive subclasses and two full modules to dive into.
For now, all playtest materials will be formatted for the 2014 version. We can’t wait to hear your thoughts and see your stories come to life with these new materials. Your feedback is vital to making 80s Adventures the best it can be - and we'll follow up when the material gets released with surveys! Also the layout and art is looking amazing and we are so excited for you to see them!!

Pledge Manager is Live! Time to Complete Your BackerKit Survey

Please use the survey to select your rewards, confirm your shipping address, and finalize any add-ons for '80s Adventures. If you haven’t received the survey email yet, be sure to check the email account associated with your Kickstarter profile, and look in your spam or promotional folders. If you still can't locate it, you can use this recovery link to access your BackerKit survey:

You’ll have 30 days to complete your survey, so make sure to respond within that window. After that, we’ll lock orders to begin processing and manufacturing your rewards.
